Alexandria, LA, for release (6/24/26) On Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at approximately 5:10 a.m., the Alexandria Police Department responded to the 200 block of 4th Street regarding a stabbing. Upon arrival, officers determined that a victim had been robbed and stabbed in the rear parking lot of the Medical Plaza at Rapides Regional Medical Center.

Alexandria, LA, for release (6/9/26)   On June 9, 2026, at approximately 12:45 p.m., officers with the Alexandria Police Department responded to the 2600 block of South MacArthur Drive in reference to two small children being left unattended inside a vehicle.  Upon arrival, officers located the vehicle and found two young children, ages two and three, inside.
