The bicyclist critically injured in a crash Wednesday afternoon at the intersection of Sterkx Road and MacArthur Drive has died from her injuries.
The crash occurred on August 26, 2026, at approximately 4:30 p.m., when the bicyclist entered the northbound lanes of MacArthur Drive from Sterkx Road and was struck by a northbound pickup truck.
The bicyclist, identified as 62-year-old Glenda Fletcher, was transported to a local hospital in critical condition. Fletcher later succumbed to her injuries.
This is currently an ongoing investigation.
