Alexandria, LA, for release (3/21/26)
On Friday, March 20, 2026, at approximately 3:50 PM, the Alexandria Police Department responded to a local hospital in reference to a shooting that occurred in the 2700 block of 9th Street. One person sustained gunshot wounds and was treated for their injuries.
A few hours later, the Alexandria Police Department arrested 18-year-old Kaden Johnson in connection with this incident. Johnson was charged with one count of attempted second-degree murder and was booked into the Rapides Parish Detention Center.
This is currently an ongoing investigation.
