Alexandria, LA for release (3/29/24)
On Thursday, March 28, 2024, at approximately 7:05 PM the Alexandria Police Department responded to a local hospital regarding a 2-year-old child suffering from injuries as a result of being struck by a motor vehicle. The preliminary investigation revealed that the child was in the roadway when the single-vehicle crash occurred in the 3600 block of Green Meadow Street. A routine toxicology test was performed on the driver of the vehicle involved.
This is currently an ongoing investigation.
