Alexandria, LA for release (1/29/24)
On Saturday, January 27, 2024 at approximately 3:20 AM the Alexandria Police Department responded to the 2500 block of Avenue A in reference to a person burglarizing vehicles. Responding officers located and arrested 67-year-old Gerald Baker of Alexandria LA for two counts of simple burglary.
On Monday, January 29, 2024, the Alexandria Police Department charged Baker with three additional counts of simple burglary and one count of Attempted Burglary stemming from vehicle burglaries committed in the area of Joe Hesni Boulevard on January 22, 2024.
This is currently an ongoing investigation.
