Pedestrian dies in single vehicle crash in the 2900 block of North Bolton Avenue

On Sunday, April 21, 2024 at approximately 9:40 PM the Alexandria Police Department responded to a single vehicle crash involving a pedestrian in the 2900 block of North Bolton Avenue.  The pedestrian, 64-year-old Gary Joseph of Alexandria, LA was attempting to cross the northbound travel lane of North Bolton Avenue when the crash occurred.  Joseph was transported to a local hospital where he surcummed to his injuries.  Toxicology test were performed on the driver of the vehicle.

This is currently an ongoing investigation.
