One Vehicle Crash-Pedestrian Dies

Alexandria, LA for release (2/26/24) 

 

On Monday, February 26, 2024, at approximately 9:30 AM, the Alexandria Police Department responded to the 1400 of MacArthur Drive in reference to a single vehicle crash involving a pedestrian. The initial investigation revealed that 83-year-old Nathan Hale of Pineville, LA, was struck by a truck while walking in a parking lot. Hale was transported to a local hospital, where he died as a result of his injuries. Routine toxicology results are pending for the driver of the truck.  

  

This is currently an ongoing investigation.
