Alexandria, LA for release (4/15/24)
On Sunday, March 31, 2024, at approximately 3:08 AM the Alexandria Police Department responded to the 4100 block of Pisciotta Street in reference to gunfire. Jessie Tatum III, 49-year-old of Alexandria LA was found deceased from a gunshot wound.
On Friday, April 12, 2024 authorities in North Carolina arrested 21-year-old Shaheem White of Alexandria, LA in connection with this case. Shaheem White was arrested on an active APD warrant and is charged with Second Degree Murder, Felon in Possession of a Firearm, and Illegal Use of a Weapon. Shaheem White remains in North Carolina awaiting extradition proceedings.
Also wanted in connection with this case is 29-year-old Jarvis White of Alexandria, LA. The Alexandria Police Department holds active warrants on Jarvis White for one count of Second Degree Murder and one count of Felon in Possession of a Firearm.
