Homicide in the 2900 block of 4th Street

Alexandria, LA for release (5/29/24)

On Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at approximately 9:10 AM the Alexandria Police Department responded to the 2900 block of 3rd Street in reference to a vehicle that crashed into a building.  Responding officers found the driver, 23-year-old Kalen Dubois of Alexandria LA, unresponsive and suffering from a gunshot wound.  Dubois was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his wound.  The preliminary investigation revealed that the incident occurred in the 2900 block of 4th Street.

This is currently an ongoing investigation.
