Alexandria, LA for release (12/20/25)
On Friday, December 19, 2025, at approximately 6:25 pm, the Alexandria Police Department responded to the 1200 block of MacArthur Drive in reference to a single-vehicle crash involving a bicyclist. The bicyclist was attempting to cross MacArthur Drive when struck by a vehicle. The bicyclist was transported to a local hospital in critical condition. The vehicle involved in the crash fled the scene.
The Alexandria Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance with locating the suspect vehicle. The suspect vehicle is believed to be a 2013-2015 Honda Accord, dark gray/charcoal, with significant damage to the front left bumper, missing the driver-side mirror assembly, and missing the driver’s side fog light assembly.
This is currently an ongoing investigation.
