On Wednesday, February 21, 2024, at approximately 10:45 AM, the Alexandria Police Department responded to a domestic battery call in the 2700 block of Webster Street. Responding officers interviewed the victim, who sustained minor injuries, and identified a suspect. Later that same day, officers located the suspect, 28-year-old Danny Prenell, Jr., of Alexandria, LA, at Monroe Street and Maryland Avenue, where he was arrested for one count of Domestic Abuse Battery. Prenell was also charged with an active warrant for a revoked bond out of Mississippi.
This is currently an ongoing investigation.
