Alexandria, LA for release (4/15/24)
On Sunday, April 14, 2024, at approximately 9:45 PM the Alexandria Police Department responded to the 500 block of MacArthur Drive in reference to a single vehicle crash involving a pedestrian. The pedestrian, 56-year-old Jeannie Austin of Alexandria, LA was attempting to cross the northbound travel lane of MacArthur Drive when the crash occurred. Toxicology test were performed on the driver of the vehicle.
This is currently an ongoing investigation.
