Alexandria, LA for release (12/7/25)
On Saturday, December 6, 2025, at approximately 4:15 pm, the Alexandria Police Department responded to a shooting in the 3600 block of 6th Street. 20-year-old Christopher Howard Jr. was found deceased at the scene from an apparent gunshot wound.
On Sunday, December 7, 2025, at approximately 1:00 am, the Alexandria Police Department arrested 19-year-old Douglas Domino in connection with this case. Domino was charged with one count of second-degree murder.
Alexandria Police Chief Chad Gremillion stated, “The speed, efficiency, and coordination shown by our officers and investigators were critical in bringing this suspect into custody so quickly. We are especially grateful for the critical assistance provided by the Louisiana State Police, whose resources and partnership greatly strengthened our efforts. This was a true team effort, and I’m proud of the dedication our department demonstrated throughout this investigation.”
