On Sunday, October 1, 2023, at approximately 01:45 PM the Alexandria Police Department responded to the 5200 block of Timothy Avenue in reference to an armed individual threatening suicide. Officers successfully negotiated a peaceful surrender of the suspect who then was taken to a local hospital.
This is currently an ongoing investigation.
