Alexandria, LA for release (12/6/25)
On Saturday, December 6, 2025, at approximately 11:45 am, the Alexandria Police Department responded to the 100 block of Chester Street in reference to an 8-year-old who had been shot. It has been determined that a 10-year-old and an 8-year-old found a gun, and while playing with it, the gun discharged, hitting the 8-year-old. The eight-year-old was transported to a local hospital in critical condition.
This is currently an ongoing investigation.
