Alexandria, LA for release (8/14/26)
On Thursday, August 13, 2026, at approximately 10:50 PM, the Alexandria Police Department responded to a local hospital in reference to a person suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim, 21-year-old Patrick Battles III, succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. The shooting occurred in the 3700 block of 3rd Street.
This is currently an ongoing investigation.
