Arrest Made in Shots Fired Call at Monroe and MacArthur

On Monday, November 10, 2025, at approximately 9:50 PM, the Alexandria Police Department responded to a shots-fired call at Monroe Street and MacArthur Drive.  There were no injuries reported in connection with this incident.

 

On Monday, November 17, 2025, at approximately 4:35 PM, the Alexandria Police Department arrested 19-year-old Jordan Welch in connection with the shots-fired call.  Welch was charged with one count of attempted second-degree murder and one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

 

The Alexandria Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance with locating 30-year-old Cameron Jackson in connection with this case.  Jackson is described as a black male, 5’10”, 190 lbs.  Jackson has an active warrant for his arrest for one count of aggravated assault with a firearm and one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
