On Friday, November 1, 2024, the Alexandria Police Department arrested 19-year-old Daviyun Gold of Alexandria, LA in connection with four separate incidents.
Gold was charged as follows:
- Attempted Second-Degree Murder, Obstruction of Justice, and Accessory After the Fact to Attempted Second-Degree Murder related to an incident in the 600 block of Fred Loop.
- Assault by Drive-by-Shooting related to an incident in the 4400 block of Lincoln Road.
- Attempted Second Degree Murder related to an incident in the 4800 block of Lee Street.
- Possession of a Machine Gun and Possession of a Stolen Firearm related to an incident in the 1700 block of Hickory Street.
This is currently an ongoing investigation.
