Alexandria, LA for release (6/19/24)
On Sunday, June 16, 2024, at approximately 9:50 PM the Alexandria Police Department responded to the 2200 block of West Sycamore Street in reference to a shooting. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
On Tuesday, June 18, 2024, the Alexandria Police Department arrested 29-year-old Trey Robinson and 28-year-old Daira Payne both of Alexandria LA in connection with this shooting. Robinson was charged with one count of Attempted Second Degree Murder and Payne was charged with one count of Accessory After the Fact to Attempted Second Degree Murder and one count of Obstruction of Justice. Both Robinson and Payne were booked into the Rapides Parish Detention Center.
This is currently an ongoing investigation.
