Juvenile Arrested in Connection with Attempted Robbery in the 200 Block of Bolton Avenue

On Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at approximately 9:50 PM, the Alexandria Police Department responded to the 200 block of Bolton Avenue in reference to an attempted armed robbery of a local business.  The store clerk fired several shots during the encounter, and the suspect fled the store.  No injuries were reported.

On Tuesday, June 17, 2025, the Alexandria Police Department arrested a 15-year-old juvenile in connection with the attempted armed robbery in the 200 block of Bolton Avenue.  The juvenile has been charged with one count of armed robbery, one count of juvenile in possession of a handgun, and one count of simple burglary.

The Alexandria Police Department would like to thank the public for their assistance in identifying the juvenile, which led to the arrest.

This is currently an ongoing investigation.
