Alexandria, LA for release (6/18/24)
On Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at approximately 7:19 PM the Alexandria Police Department responded to the 2700 block of Overton Street in reference to a shooting where one person was found deceased. Officers located and pursued a vehicle involved in the shooting. The occupants abandoned the vehicle at Monroe Street and Louisiana Avenue fleeing on foot. Officers cordoned off an area and conducted a thorough search but were unable to locate the suspects.
This is currently an ongoing investigation.
