On Monday, November 11, 2024, the Alexandria Police Department responded to the 2500 block of Loblolly Lane in reference to a 2-year-old child in medical distress. The child was transported to a local hospital and was later pronounced deceased. Following an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident, on Monday, November 18, 2024, the mother of the deceased child, 24-year-old Camry Lotts was arrested for one count of Second Degree Murder in connection with this case.
This is currently an ongoing investigation.
