On Saturday, January 18, 2025, at approximately 1:46 AM the Alexandria Police Department responded to the intersection of 3rd Street and University Street in reference to a hit-and-run crash involving a pedestrian. The pedestrian, who has succumbed to his injuries has been identified as 39-year-old Marcus Billops.
This is currently an ongoing investigation.
