Alexandria, LA for release (6/20/24)
On Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at approximately 10:53 PM the Alexandria Police Department responded to the 2000 block of Simmons Street in reference to a shooting. Responding officers found two individuals deceased, both from apparent gunshot wounds. The names of the victims are being withheld at this time, pending notification of next of kin.
This is currently an ongoing investigation.
