Alexandria, LA for release (9/17/24)
On Monday, September 16, 2024, at approximately 2:00 PM the Alexandria Police Department made a traffic stop in the 600 block of MacArthur Drive and arrested 34-year-old Carnell Nelson of Pineville LA. Nelson had an active warrant for his arrest for one count of Attempted Second Degree Murder in connection to the shooting that occurred on August 31, 2024 at 13th Street and Elliott Street.
This is currently an ongoing investigation.
