On Monday, June 10, 2024, at approximately 8:10 PM the Alexandria Police Department located an occupied stolen vehicle at Lee Street and Duhon Lane and attempted to stop it. The stolen vehicle fled from officers which led to a short pursuit that ended in the 2900 block of MacArthur Drive. A 16-year-old juvenile and 17 year-old Dereon Gordon, both of Alexandria LA were arrested and charged with one count of Theft of a Motor Vehicle, one count of Aggravated Flight From an Officer, and one count of Resisting an Officer.
This is currently an ongoing investigation.
