Alexandria Man Arrested for Warrant of Attempted 2nd Degree Murder

On Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at approximately 5:20 PM, the Alexandria Police Department, in collaboration with the Louisiana State Police, served an arrest warrant on 24-year-old Tyrese Tucker in the 400 block of Harold Glen Street.  Tucker was wanted for attempted second-degree murder in connection with a shooting on February 6, 2025, at 3rd Street and Willow Glen.  Tucker was taken into custody and booked into the Rapides Parish Detention Center.  Additional charges in connection with Tucker’s arrest are pending.

The Alexandria Police Department would like to thank the Louisiana State Police for their assistance with this violent offender arrest.
